Family law firm forgoes office holiday gift giving in favor of collecting winter wear and toys for local families
BLUE BELL, Pa. (January 2019) – Pennsylvania family law firm Shemtob Draganosky Taylor, P.C. skipped the office holiday gift giving this season in order to give to those who need it most. The Montgomery County-based law firm collected hats, scarves, gloves, toys, crafts and more to donate to Mitzvah Circle Foundation to distribute to local people in need.
For the second year in a row, the firm collected and donated winter wear, including long johns for people of all sizes and ages. The firm also donated toys, games, crafts and activity books for children. The items were donated to Mitzvah Circle, which will distribute them to individuals and families dealing with crisis, poverty, homelessness, and serious illness this winter.
“Helping families is part of our culture here at Shemtob Draganosky Taylor,” said Lori K. Shemtob, the firm’s founding partner. “We are proud to have the opportunity to help those who are enduring hardships, and we hope these donations brighten their lives a little bit.”
Based in Montgomery County, Mitzvah Circle Foundation is a local nonprofit organization that provides material support to individuals and families dealing with crisis, poverty, homelessness, and serious illness. The foundation is not faith-based and helps people in need regardless of race or religion.
