Two law students join Blue Bell-based family law firm to assist lawyers helping families in divorce, custody, support, and other family law matters
BLUE BELL, Pa. (May 2019) – Shemtob Draganosky Taylor Stein, PC, P.C. is pleased to welcome two summer associates, Emily Farris and Patience Brown, both law students with an interest in pursuing careers in family law. Brown and Farris will be assisting the firm’s lawyers with case preparation, legal research and writing, and will have the opportunity to learn while observing meetings and hearings.
Farris is a rising third year law student at Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. She previously served as a legal intern in the Family Law Unit at Philadelphia Legal Assistance where she was responsible for conducting client interviews and drafting pleadings for custody and support matters. Farris holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from High Point University, in High Point, North Carolina.
Brown is a rising second year law student at Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. She has served the Honorable Neil N. Jasey of the Superior Court of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey’s Juvenile Division in administrative roles. She also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Sherry Hutchins-Henderson of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Kean University, in Union, New Jersey.
