Andrew D. Taylor joined Shemtob Draganosky Taylor Stein, PC in 2014. Drew has practiced family law exclusively for over 15 years. He is experienced in all aspects of family law, including equitable distribution, alimony, child support, child custody and abuse matters. He regularly argues appeals before the Pennsylvania Superior Court involving complex family law issues and argued before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Drew was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® (2015–2018 Editions) in the field of family law, one of the legal profession’s oldest and most respected peer-review publications, published by U.S. News & World Report. Drew has attained an “AV Preeminent®” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell. He received the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys (AIOFLA) Pennsylvania AIOFLA “10 Best” Client Satisfaction Award, which recognizes commitment to the field of family law and a high level of approval from peers and clients.
Drew has been named a “Rising Star” from 2008 through 2018 by the publisher of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, an honor given to the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in Pennsylvania who are 40 years or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. In 2019, Drew was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. Only the top 5 percent of Pennsylvania’s 50,000 lawyers are named Super Lawyers each year. Drew also holds an Avvo Rating of “10 – Superb.”
Drew has been named a “Top Divorce Attorney” by Mainline Today Magazine, a “Top Family Law Attorney” by Philadelphia Life Magazine and an “Awesome Attorney” in the area of Family Law in Philadelphia by Suburban Life Magazine. In 2011, he received the “Lawyer on the Fast Track Award,” an honor given to only 27 Pennsylvania attorneys under 40 years of age by The Legal Intelligencer recognizing the future leaders of Pennsylvania’s legal community.
Drew is a frequent speaker and writer on a number of family law topics.
He graduated magna cum laude from Mansfield University in 2000, and from Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law in 2003.
Drew resides in Montgomery County with his wife and two children.
